📢Yesterday, UPLIFTING VERTICAL S.A. had the honor of welcoming the Vice President of the Government of Aragón and Minister of Presidency, Economy, and Justice, Mar Vaquero, accompanied by the Mayor of Huesca, Lorena Orduna, and other regional and local authorities. Although brief, the visit was highly meaningful for our team, reinforcing Huesca’s role as an industrial hub linked to heavy logistics and the defense industry.
🚀During the tour of our facilities at the Huesca Logistics Platform (PLHUS), we shared details of the expansion project we are implementing: a €10 million investment that will increase our space from 8,000 to 20,000 m² at PLHUS, including new assembly and painting areas, and the creation of approximately 30 new skilled jobs by the full completion of the expansion.
This growth plan will allow us to triple production in the coming years, consolidating our position as an international reference in high-capacity logistics equipment for both civilian and military applications.
During the visit, the Vice President highlighted that UPLIFTING is an example of industrial innovation in Aragón, with its own product line, presence in the Ministry of Defense catalog, and over 30% of production exported to armies and logistics operators worldwide.
For us, designing and manufacturing globally unique equipment from Huesca, these words represent explicit recognition of the efforts of our fully Aragonese team competing every day in a highly demanding market.
The presence of the Mayor of Huesca was equally significant. The development of our project at PLHUS is not merely a business investment; it is a shared commitment to stable, skilled, and long-term employment in the city. Open dialogue with the City Council and the Government of Aragón is key to ensuring that this expansion translates into more opportunities for local talent, stronger value chains for our suppliers, and greater visibility for Huesca on the European map of defense and advanced logistics industries.
